Yearly Archives: 2013

She is pretty bubbly and punk rock rebel at the same time!

She smiles all the time except when she’s doing her rocker pose;  and her laugh is pretty infectious.

We met at the narrows which happened to be completely PACKED that evening.  Seriously, it was the most crowded I have ever seen it.  The weather was amazing.  It was that first day where there was a nice cool breeze amidst the 90 degree weather;  and there was absolutely no humidity!

It was pretty much the perfect night, and Shelby and I chatted about every topic imaginable as we searched for the perfect spot for her portraits.

We settled in pretty far down the trails and Shelby just rocked it out!  She is fearless!

Here are some of my favorite shots from our session:

It’s been a while!  Like a long while!

We’ve been a busy bunch over here and we just returned from vacation.  I can’t believe I’m actually saying that… vacation!  We did it! We hoped on a flight and traveled away from the house… with the wee one and got away for a few days!

Tuck and I have been working really hard lately and we were excited to visit with some family and some friends;  excited to take a breather and just relax!

And then we got off the plane and realized… relax SMELAX!  We have a toddler…. there IS no relaxing!  At least not for a while while our wee one enjoys doing wind sprints every where we go and traveling up and down every stair, step, mountain, hill possible.

But we did have a GREAT time and we did get to do some really wonderful things:  like visiting Hogwarts at Universal.  If you know me… you know I’m a slightly obsessed Harry Potter fanatic (and it was a dream come true!)

Here are some peeks at our vacation life through our insta-grams (or at least what was saved after some phones sadly were lost to the Hulk,)

Lot’s and lot’s of photography posts coming your way this week!

Tomorrow:  Senior portrait fun!

Later this week:  Cake Smash,  A sweet little Newborn, and another Cake Smash!

This has been one of the busiest times  (this summer) of my photography career so far!  I have been so incredible blessed to have amazing clients and amazing friends who have supported me and trusted me and allowed me to be a part of their lives!

Feeling very grateful and in awe!

Meet Tiffany!

She’s super sweet and she’s a senior this year!  I absolutely love photographing senior portraits!  I always have a blast when I’m out shooting and the best thing about seniors is the absolute courage they have in front of the camera!  They just go for it and there is nothing more incredible than someone who can just let go of all fear of looking silly and just be completely themselves… silly, serious, funny, modely (that IS a word for the purpose of this post!)  and all that goes in between!

Tiffany did all that and more!  When you meet her you just instantly feel at ease.  She has that natural confidence about her that opens her up to conversation and friendship and a real sincere relationship!

She is absolutely gorgeous but after spending about 10 minutes time with her, you realize that her beauty enhances as you notice it comes from the inside out!

We chatted the entire session about lots of different things but one thing I noticed about Tiffany is that she a great listener which is a rare quality these days.  I bet that her close friends would say that she is the first person they think to call when they just need someone to lean on.  She’s the one that people call on for advice or when they just aren’t sure of something, they call Tiffany!

She is fun and spunky and I know this year is going to hold some great adventures for her!

Here are some of my favorites from our session!  It was really hard for me to choose.
