The Biggest Thank You I can Say!

Along with this wonderful new year comes a lot of reflection for me, just take a look at yesterday’s blog post!

One of the most important things that I would like to do before I start really focusing on this beautiful new start to a crazy new year is say a huge and loud and emotional THANK YOU TO ALL MY AMAZING CLIENTS!  

I wasn’t sure if in 2014 I was going to be able to have any business at all!  Tuck was deploying and it was my first (and last thankfully) deployment ever.  It was a HUGE shock to all of us and although we had almost a year to prepare for it, we still took it as a big surprise.  I know a lot of momma’s who run hugely successful photography business, work full time AND have husbands that serve in the military!  I look up to them and respect them so incredibly much.  They live their lives like a BOSS!  And part of me feels really ashamed when I admit that I didn’t feel like I would be able to work and “have” my business while Tuck was away.   These women are incredible and it feels almost like a slap to them to say poor me… my hubs left once and I fell apart!  But everyone’s situation is different and that first deployment ever is a an adjustment!  I’m just grateful I have those mommas to look up to and talk with to remind me to pick myself up, put on my big girl pants and get to work!

It took me a while (a long while) to figure out that balance!  The one thing that remained constant though…my clients continued to support me, push me and encourage me to keep moving forward!

Right before Tuck returned home (early no less) I started to really whip this balance thing in shape and own it, thanks to my wonderful clients who became way way more than clients this year… they became a second family to me!

I also never dreamed I would be able to branch out and thrive shooting Children, Family and Lifestyle Portraits alone!  I wasn’t sure I could make a mark and grow my business without taking weddings after weddings.  My clients loved me again and again and showed me that with their faith and encouragement, I can grow my business as far as I want to grow it!

I have been blessed beyond measure with families of gold!  Clients that not only trust me enough to capture their precious stories but love my little family enough to push me and help me grow: personally and as a small business!

I could never find the words to ever express my gratitude for YOU!  I could never find the words to tell you exactly all the ways in which you have helped me grow this year;  all the ways in which you have made a difference in my life and the lives of my two wild and crazy boys!

It is because of you that I enjoy photography so much.  It is because of you that I squeal and cry and jump for joy when I go through the images on my computer!  It is because of you that I become emotional over the tiniest of things in those images!

It is because of you that I am excited for this new year and all that it has to offer for Brooke Tucker Photography!
