Ella at home!

It wasn’t too long ago that I had the pleasure of spending a fun filled evening at the beach with this incredible family!  They were a family of three waiting on the arrival of their baby sister (Ella) and the excitement was almost too much to handle!

Now they are a lovely family of FOUR and there just aren’t enough hugs and kisses for this big brother!!!

I think that’s one of the best parts about lifestyle/documentary settings:  you are comfortable in your own home and you truly get to see life just as it is NOW!

We had a blast hanging out in mom and dad’s room, cuddling and snuggling and reading books together!  B even showed off some of his really cool tricks! 😉

Little Ella was so alert and awake;  always watching big brother!

These are the moments I love! When my family’s can spend some time enjoying one another!  When they can sit together and soak up each other with as much quality time as possible away from the chaos and the chores and all the to-dos!  When they can sit back and enjoy their “new normal” and truly see all the points of connection they have with one another!

It’s never about perfection… it’s just about how we can embrace one another in the time we share!
