I first came to this amazing town of Celebration when I was visiting my childhood friend Emily a long long time ago! One of the very first friends she introduced me to was Rose and I will never ever forget that night! We sat at the Bohemian, ate a delicious dinner and the three of us chatted for hours! I immediately felt connected to Rose, I mean who doesn’t?! She is this truly incredible woman that in that very first instant of meeting her she fills your heart and creates a space there with a lasting impression that leaves you knowing you will never ever be the same! Rose is the kind of person that will always have a space in everyone’s heart because she is just wonderfully genuine and heart warming! Now that you know how special she is, you can’t imagine my excitement when Rose started to chat about taking some holiday family portraits! I couldn’t wait to get her stunning family in front of my camera! We knew we wanted something that was in town and we wanted something simple and laid back for their Holiday portrait session. Rose suggested this little spot that was near and dear to her heart and from there it was just one big music filled play time for all of us.
Rose and Chris have the best relationship with their kiddo’s Addy and Ryan! I love how they all interact together and are able to laugh and joke with one another! I also love how much Addy and Ryan support one another! Addy and Ryan were also so great at helping me direct the session. They had the best ideas and were incredibly creative with on what we should do next or how we should sit or stand! I definitely see a future for both of them if they ever want one as my second shooter or artistic director one day!
Here are some of my favorite images from Rose and the family’s holiday family portraits! I had to keep some of my most favorite images a secret still since it is holiday card season… but don’t worry, I’m sure some of you will be seeing those very soon!
I kind of love this one above… it’s one of those “in between” moments that I just adore!
Thank you so much Rose and Chris for letting me be a part of your family for an hour! Thank you for trusting me with these incredibly precious moments and for singing along with me (or rather putting up with my horrible voice and rapping skills) to some pretty awesome pop songs.. MY HOUSE!!! Thank Ryan and Addy for that too because I’m pretty sure I might have traumatized them 😉
I love you guys!!
